PEOPLE-GENTES

December 7, 2014 by Allan Stephenson

When Gringos list the reasons for living here they usually say there’s the wonderful climate, and the low cost of living, there is the interesting-ness of everything- but there is also and mostly the people. They are the most charming, helpful and sweet people you will ever meet.

pedro

Above-“Loco Pedro” as he was called was a local fixture in Ajijic for many years.

Apparently he was a successful Lawyer from up north who went native. He travelled the village with Vino Blanco the white donkey pulling the little cart.

Pedro died last year but Blanco continues eating grass in the grounds of a local restaurant.
