Next to London- Mexico City has the most museums of anywhere in the world.
Museums on various subjects but for me I concentrated on the art. Even at that I never got to see all the ones there are.
Below- the ceiling of the Museum of Modern Art.
Below some pieces that caught my eye in that museum.
Olga Costa – La Vendedora de Frutas-(The Fruit Vendor) 1951
Las Dos Fridas (The Two Fridas)-Frida Kahlo 1939
Above- a lithograph by Diego Rivera El Sueno de Los Pobres-1932
Above-Diego Rivera-Dia del Muertos (The Day of The Dead) -1944
Above- Alfonso Pena-Tehuanos 1939
Angel Zarraga-Las Futbolistas-( The Female footballers)-1922
Above-Raul Anguiano-El Hijo Muerta (The Dead Child) -1943
Juan Soriano-El Desterrado-1946

Manuel Alvarez Bravo-Los Magueyes-1970
Gerardo Murillo (Dr Atl) Nubres Sobre El Paricutin-1943
Luis Nishizawa-Minas de Acahualtepec-1950
While taking a break from the art I looked around me and this is what I saw.
Museo Rufino Tamayo was a bit of a let down as there were very few of his paintings in this vast museum.
Childrens Game-1958
The Great Galaxie 1978
Man at The Door 1980

Above One of the luxury double decker buses that ply the routes between major cities. They put Greyhound to shame.
Clean, quiet and smooth. Seating up and down with two bathrooms below and vending machines.
The buses are made by the likes of Mercedes, MAN, Volvo and Scandia.
