BATOPILAS -a suprise at the end of the road.

Above- The Riverside Lodge in Batopilas. This is certainly one of the most charming and unique places  we have ever stayed at and deserves a whole posting of it’s own.

 

Above and below– The ornamental ironwork of which there was much, was all painstakingly painted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Below– The side gate we used.

 

 

Below-One of two doors to our rooms.

Our clawfoot bathtub which was well used because there was no shower anyway.

Above Frogs or Ranas are a motif for the town

 

There is the green part and the blue part of the hotel
