The Grand Canyon IS truly grand. Staggering landscapes. My favourite part of the Canyon though is the North Rim.
One approaches through verdant green valleys and pine forests at nearly 9000 feet up.
One comes upon The Canyon from the north quietly whether on foot or by car and is a surprise ! Here from the Bright Angel trail.
