One arrives in London from Paris (via train) at St Pancras- a Victorian train Palace.
Stayed in Earls Court which like many areas of west London has these long colonnades of white porticoed houses.
Behind them are Mews which are very desirable places to live but were originally for the carriages and horses.
I was born near there in Kensington on this street
Not just the white houses but the red brick Dutch style too.
A day in Hampstead
Above Well Walk the street that Constable lived on.
St Johns Church in Hampstead holds the bodies of many prominent persons.

Pieces of the old tube system still exists though ticket window apparently are no longer needed.
