Above- Not to be taken seriously. First saw the act back in 2003 and mistakenly took it seriously. The act continues with different players.

We stayed across the River from most of Rome in Trastevere. in Its name comes from the Latin literally beyond or across the Tiber .

The Basilica of Our Lady in Trastevere one of the oldest churches in Rome established in the third century. the plaza is the focal point for the area.

By the time of the Republic c. 509 BC, the number of sailors and fishermen making a living from the river had increased, and many had taken up residence in Trastevere. Immigrants from the East also settled there, mainly Jews and Syrians. The area began to be considered part of the city under Augustus, who divided Rome into 14 regions (regiones in Latin); modern Trastevere was the XIV and was called Trans Tiberim.

The Tempietto del Bramante in Trastevere is a martyrium designed by Donato Bramante to commemorate the site traditionally regarded as the location of Saint Peter’s crucifixion. The small, freestanding chapel was commissioned by Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile and was completed 1502 for the cloister of San Pietro in Montorio in Rome, Italy. The structure is considered a masterpiece of High Renaissance architecture, with scholars and architects noting Bramante’s harmonious proportions and his symbolic adaptation of Classical and early Christian architectural elements.

This restaurant in Travestere was immortalized in the painting hanging on their wall.

Nowadays, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to its narrow cobbled streets lined by ancient houses. At night, natives and tourists alike flock to its many bars and restaurants, but much of the original character of Trastevere remains.

Little electric cars.

In Travastere and further away from the center graffiti is on every surface and I think a blight.
